TDC Announces New Subsidiary: TDC Specialty Underwriters, Inc.

The Doctors Company (TDC) is the second largest writer of physicians medical malpractice insurance in the U.S. They recently announced the creation of TDC Specialty Underwriters, Inc. (TDCSU), a new subsidiary that will focus on writing professional liability (medical malpractice) insurance for a wide range of healthcare facilities. This will include coverage for hospitals, misc. medical facilities and long-term care facilities. This new subsidiary also plans to offer other lines of coverage for healthcare facilities, such as D&O, EPL and Managed Care E&O.
