The Doctors Company (TDC) is the second largest writer of physicians medical malpractice insurance in the U.S.  They recently announced the creation of TDC Specialty Underwriters, Inc. (TDCSU), a new subsidiary that will focus on writing professional liability (medical malpractice) insurance for a wide range of healthcare facilities.  This will include coverage for hospitals, misc. medical facilities and long-term care facilities. This new subsidiary also plans to offer other lines of coverage for healthcare facilities, such as [D&O](https://www.ethosinsurance.com/do-sell-sheet), [EPL](https://www.ethosinsurance.com/epl-sell-sheet) and Managed Care E&O.
